Tēnā koutou,
This week marks the start of the second half of Term One. We are really proud that our average Delivery in Full, On Time rate for lunches across the country for the first half of the Term is 97.87%.
As well as delivering meals hot and on time, we have been focused on meal variety and rotation. We have been serving ten standard meals regularly over the last six weeks including new dishes Country Chicken Meatballs, Chicken Burrito and Creamy Chicken Meatballs as well as favourites like Butter Chicken, alongside pop-up meals Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Pesto Pasta Salad.
In Term Two, more new meals are coming.
This year we have bolstered our dietary meal range to twelve meals and are working to ensure meals are well rotated across the days and weeks. Some of this term's new dietary meals include Mornay Vege & Mash, Italian Tomato Pasta Salad, Potato and Bean Salad, Malay Vege & Rice, Cottage Pie (plant-based), Butter Bean & Rice and Baked Rice & Tofu.
We have also expanded our range of additional food items for Years 9+ has expanded, new items arriving for Term Two.
Check out our menu here: Weekly Menu Page.
We look forward to keeping you posted as Term Two approaches.
New Look Standard Meals

You said, we listened!
We have received feedback from schools across the country that the meals look the same.
We have taken your views on board and been experimenting with some new presentation formats like the Jungle Chicken Curry pictured left.
We are now rolling out the revised formats, and you will start seeing our new look meals in a couple of weeks. Feedback very welcome.
New Standard Meal Labels
We are transitioning to new labels on our standard meals. Our new labels clearly show the meal name, batch and recipe codes, as well as the allergens.
The new labels are part of our ongoing food safety focus and will help you, and your ākonga, to identify meals more easily.
As we move to the new labelling over the next three weeks, occasionally you may see a meal with the old ink-jet label or no label.
These meals are still perfectly safe to eat and distribute.
As part of our service, we are including photos of the new meal labels in your Cambros for you to refer to during the change-over.

Team Taranaki

Our Taranaki team love supporting our schools around the region, as well as supporting and participating in local events.
Last week they celebrated getting 100% of the lunches out in full on time. At the same time, they celebrated Americarna - a major event celebrating American car culture that was hosted in Taranaki last week.
